do u think its too early for a mk6 deek?? i know they want to get ahead of their rivals but if they build on the mk5 which is a good car all in all, then they shouldn't have much problem even if they left it a while!!

Story is that the Mk5 is costing VW far too much money to build, hence they want to replace it relatively early in it's life cycle.

VW announced a couple of months ago that they're having to bring the MK6 forward because the production costs associated with the MK5 are *way* more than their rivals. I recall a comparsion btwn the Peoguet(sp?) 307 and the Golf where the doors on the Golf were taking twice as long to mount as on the 307.

So the next generation will be built for production which may have a comprise (through design rather than materials selection) on quality.

All imho, of course.

Deek.

so people like us can masterbate over them

Seriously they just look better, but they come to production they make the care more realistic. A let down when you think about it
