Remove Steering Wheel

Post by Pedro_Hilario »

Hello,

I need to remove my steering wheel because of the horn. That little metal thing that makes contact with the steering wheel in order for the horn to work is broken i believe and i need to remove the steering wheel to see what's up with that.

I have this steering wheel (which i'll be changing in due time)

How do i remove it? I think its like this, remove that cover, and with the proper tool unscrew this in the photo

Is it really that simple or is there something else i should be aware?

Thanks,

Pedro

If your car has an airbag (which from looking at the pic i dont think it has) then you will have to make sure you carefully remove the ignitor springs and the springs that are attatched to it/come out with it etc.
