im looking for lowering springs for a 92' mk3 but it never says its for a mk3,on sites would the 86c be the same as a mk3,sorry if im being stupid but i dont want to buy the wrong part

86c is actually the mk2 but because the mk3 is a facelift of the mk2 the code is 86c 2f.....but then the suspension is all the same for m2-3's anyway so the kits should fit as long as it's the correct model shape, e.g the saloon sometimes has different kits :wink:

thanks for that,does anyone know where to get cheapish springs the mk3 coupe all the ones ive seen are bout 90 quid,my mate only payed 50 for his but i cant find any like that

these guys are quite highly regarded, got springs for about £70 but if you're going more than about 40mm you're going to need uprated shocks too mate :wink:

my mk3 is quite low n e way so 40mm would probly do,its my first car so its gonna be a project car,im doing motorsport engineering at college so expect some crazy things in the next year or two

the £50 kit is frmo euro car parts...its labelled for a mk2 if thats any help
