fitting crystal mk4 golf repeaters to my mk4 polo

just picked up a set of crystal repeaters for my motor, as u may know the connector is different on these to the polo ones, has anyone else got a set on theirs, if so how did u get them to work??? pls help!!!!

Hi Simon,

I had the same problem as I was going to fit the old side
repeaters from my Golf on the Polo, but as you have discovered
the bulb holder is totally different!
The Polo connection is better and more secure IMO,
but anyway that's good old VW for you!

My advice would be to see if you can get hold of the bulb
holders and wiring, try Bob Lawson from the MkIV forum
he is a VW parts guy, he should be ble to help you find the
part you need. His number is 07719552509, tell him Steve
from the MkIVs forum refered you.

get two new holders from a scrappy, cut the old ones off, put a bit of shrimp rap over the cable, solder the new holders on, light the wrap to cover the bare wires, pop on in the new bulb then the light, push in place, Jobs a good ein
