Bought myself some fogs *Pics inside*

Post by Ollie_R »

Hey all, I finally took the plunge and bought myself some fogs for my car from VAGparts, and I fitted them this afternoon.

Also, I bought some carbon-look BBS centre caps to go on my RXII's.

I'm thinking of spraying my GTi splitter next, or even getting around to colour coding the bumpstrips.

The grilles were £30.33, the fogs and fittings cost £98.78 and the switch cost £21.95. I bought the fogs and grilles from VAGparts, and the switch, I got off eBay.

Comes to £151.06 without shipping.

Looks much nicer with fogs on, now you can see where your going in the fog  :) colour coding is definately the way forward, you thinking of doing it yourself or are you thinking of sending it to the bodyshop?

I'm thinking of doing it myself, to be honest. You can pick up a pre-primered front bumpstrip for about £30 from eurocarparts, and a tin of paint and laquer is about £11 from the stealers. Or I could get a quote for smoothing the front and rear bumpers from the local bodyshop :D

I bought the centre caps from VAGparts, they cost £6.94 each.

Thinking about it, the fogs and bits were pretty pricey, but I'm happy with them, and how it improves the look of the car :D

50 quid, that's a damn good deal for something that costed me £100 more, nice one, Ben 8)

Cheers mate, the black badges were an excellent addition to the front end.

I got the switch this morning, so I put it in this evening and took a couple of night shots.
