Clutch pedal Broke!! Bournemouth VW Specialist?

Post by Nickfowke86 »

Has anyone else had a problem with the clutch pebal breaking?

Just happened for a second time this year, starts to get closer to the floor a bit over time then just goes. Cant get full travel on the clutch, i.e alot of clunking and grinding to limp it home!?

Neone know a resonably price VW garage in Bournemouth?!

best way i can describe it is if u look at the pedal with ur head wedged in the drivers foot well:

Looking up the clutch pedal past the pivot theres a curved-like metal plate behind up top, somethings cracked/split there, pedals sits halfway down the travel and is stiff with no spring in it!?

Best i can do!?

So whats this about safety warranty?!
