gearbox question

hi my 8v 1.4 gearbox just gave way and i'm just wandering if the either diesel or 1l box would be better for acceleraton wise or more torque pull if any of these does any one ave a spare one please!!!
to sell of course

why wud u want a 1l gear box in a 1.4, im not sure if they wud fit?? i have a 1l, so if my gear box went cud i stick like a another liter engine gear box in2 mine?? or wud i need the same one, ?

it's just the ratios that are different is some boxes like a one litre has less power than 1.4 so the 1l box would have a lower ratio gear box for bottom end power and top out bout 110 maxx while the 1.4 will top out bout 125 maxx

but the acceleration wont be all that but im just not too sure bout the fittement
