Wheel Question

Post by loud »

I'm looking at a set of wheels but they are ET38.

I'm a big fan of the rear wheels sticking out so was thinking of whacking some 20 or 30 mm spacers on the back...any possible problems with doing this?

well the lower the ET eg. ET15 the more the wheels will stick out. Polo's run standard on about ET33-35 so spacers would be a good idea if you want your car looking fatter in the wheel department.
only thing stopping you is how low your car is!
i couldn't possibly put spacers on mine because my tyres are sitting in the arches.

What set of rims you looking at mate?

my cars only goin to be lowered 50mm on eibach sportlines i've had for ages but not got round to fitting yet so that wont be a problem

i've been looking at some wolfrace street octanes, quite like them

although I'm undecided as some days i want RH cups, but they'd be like 200 quid more expensive due to the tyres *sigh*
