looking good there simmy! your car is really looking spot on! still one of my favourites. those plates set it off a treat. i especially like the soft dice touch on the rear mirrors! :lol:

are your plates reflective? i.e. uk standards but german style?

no dont think there reflective not a bloody clue came from german plates.com just cliked plates for uk use

but they are illegal and will be highly illegal as of March next year, apparently police are cracking down on the road use of them because they are non-reflective and cannot be read by Gatso's and also because of the stadt sticker
Use at your own risk! i got done for mine although i have been told i was unlucky as the person who had the plate before me said he had them on fo over 2 years! A month down the line and i get caught....typical! :wink:

i got off with a warning but had to present my paperwork to the local police station within 7 days otherwise i would have got fined :(

the policeman was nice and asking me about the car and how low it was lol, but the woman (i think she was his boss) was really snotty with me and said 'why have german plates on a british car' i said 'well its a german car really' :lol:

i know there illegal but i ant arsed had my other 1's on my old car for a few months and never got pulled just see how it goes.

yer ive only had my plates a few weeks but have seen tonnes of police cars and none have had any probs...yet!! nice car mate
