I've FINALLY got some alloys!!! *now with pics*

Post by Mk2Adam »

seems like i've been waiting ages whilst i've been mirror polishing my scalas, anyway in an ironic twist i've decided against that and bought some G40 BBS RA's to keep things simple.

got 4 brand new falken 185/60/13 tyres in the post this morning courtesy of black circles (all for £76 would you believe :D )

had them put on today and then i messed around in the rain this afternoon wacking them on the car, i personally think it looks great, obviously they havn't got the standout factor of other wheels but 1 thing is for sure they look a hell of a lot better than the steelies with the poo wheel trims :D oh and i've had absolutely no scrubbage so far

piccys...

p.s Cheers to quinny for hooking me up with the wheels, and test fitted them whilst i just sat around

Nice :D I like BBS RA's, very subtle but they make such a huge difference.
Don't suppose you're wanting a new home for your scalas..? ;)

Cheers for the comments guys :D

it drives great too, sticks to the road like glue and i'm yet to have even a tincy bit of scrubbage (touches wood).

Groovy: i am selling my mirror Polished Scalas, and i did have you in mind actually as a possible buyer  , but also have a couple other people interested so i'll let you guys know

Polo Paul: Cheers mate, seems a bit of a strong comment for my lil polo lol, havn't even got it lowered or anything yet.

at the moment my insurance is loads so can't really think about lowering yet as it'll just be too much for the gains, after all the car only cost me £50

and i'll get some better pics up when i get a chance as i know they're not the best pics

He's right you know, it's looking fantastic with those new rims.. I know it's not heavily modded or anything, but I like that, you're doing a nice job keeping it looking standard but smart ;)
Anyway, let me know if you want to rehome the scalas, I'm desperate to get some bling back into my wheels

Agree with NornIron there, looking quality!
8) now some clear side repeaters and a bit of silver round the bumpers!
