Interior Mirror

Is the interior mirror the same as the mk4 where they twist off the windscreen or does the mirror just pull off the base and the horn thing is glued to the windscreen?

I think it comes off a base that remains stuck to the windscreen

Then grab ahold of the arm and twist it to the right, it then comes off in you hand, leaving the sucker on the window. Repeat process to re-attatch the new mirror.

Will have to paint the base or something though, will still be cream colour on windscreen sucker
