Anyone changed the gearbox fluid on their MkIII? Anyone written a guide to this yet?
Just a bit worried that I get the levels all wrong... or break something.
Its easy to do. At the end of the gearbox are the two 17mm hex drain/fill plugs. Undo the bottom one and catch the oil and put the plug back once its all drained out. Then take out the top one and fill with gear oil until its level with the bottom of the hole, you can check by inserting your finger.
