the Fox will begin its career in Brasil on Oct. 15 but already there are a few demonstrators in major dealerships across the country.
I've checked one out and it's OK but then again it ain't no Polo. It's too tall and too short, but it's better in the metal than on official photos. The interior plastics really let it down though (SEAT fare) and I'm sad to inform you that they won't be changed for export cars.
Here are some (official) interior pics and the first pics of a Fox with a bodykit (looks kinda good):

Nice, would be even better with a mesh grille (Ash, where are you?)

Not sure but these may be 'humble' 16"s.

'kitted dash.

Regular dash. CD player optional in Brasil, standard on all other markets.

Instruments clustered in C3/A-klasse style. Needles disappear when the engine's turned off.

Drawers under seats, as usual.

Don't ask me what this is. But it sure pops out of the dash. Wasn't there in the demo car I checked, maybe it's a 'Comfortline" thing.

This is the single most controversial detail of the entire car. Which tells us all we need to know about VW's 'daring' design philosophy.
Well, that's it for now guys. I'll head for VW's soon with a digicam and will try to steal some pics for you. They've only got 'City' models there, but anyway it's be a better show than these official, photoshop-enhanced pics.
Cheers everyone (been missing the forum, really!)
Babe
PS. Sorry about the size of the photos, didn't have time to edit them! Cheers.
