Short Shift Kit

Post by The_phat_controlleruk »

Can anyone help me in sourcing a short shift kit for a polo Mk4 1.4 8v. I cannot find one and am sure one has been produced.

Cheers.

Whaaaatt!!!!, you cannot be serious man. Seriously though, how much lower you gonna go, isn't it low already. Numbnuts here (me), bought 40mm lowering springs and regretting like mad. Should have bought Coilies. Moving house soon, gonna do them just after christmas. Got loads of other stuff planned. Re-mapped ECU, Camshaft, Zorst and filter, short shift (if I can get one) and possibly a new interioir.

apparantly, polo's around 4000rpm just suck in air and nothing else. Mine get's a bit weezy around there, ECU was set up to conform to emissions something or the other. Anyways, Remapping I believe is the same as getting it chipped.
