sidestrips

ive been looking at the strips on my car, and i want them off! ive had a little fiddle with them and they seem to be stuck on. are they? and if so are they difficult to get off my self?

They are just stuck on. Heat them with a hair dryer or hot water, then using a fishing wire behind them carefully pull them off. Then all you need to do is remove the glue that may be left on the paint with a bit of petrol or autoglym tar remover etc.

go steady though,,ive heard all sorts of horror tales about peeling laquer/paint,rust,faded paint etc. When i took mine off i had what looked like water marks in the paint,,i had it buffed but with no result. As said above,just warm them up and gently use some cotton to ''saw'' through the sticky crap on the back ,,and the rest is pretty plain sailing. Good luck

everyone always gets rid of these, see i ahd this crazy absynthe fuelled idea of changing them for a different set... muhahaha. Crazy me.
