Junction 16-17 is a bit far out for the people that will already be near there (me, Doug, Randall for instance).

I have had a look on some maps and there is a pub just round the corner from the show ground (think its not far from the entrance from what I can tell). Its called the Plough Inn (or The Plough on yell.com, postcode: LE17 5QE ) and seems like a good meeting point to me.

I'll post a map up in the morning so you can see what you think

Are we meaning all of us meet so we go in together?

That would be best 8)

I should also have a very unique Grille badge on the car as well specially for the show, afaik it will be a one off 8)

Just booked my ticket and read the blog!

There's a rolling road there and a VW Toerag (tourag) experience on a off road track! So want to do that!!!! Any one up for it?

Right, here is where the pub is I was on about. Its just outside the grounds so we will all be able to go in together. We all need to meet up somewhere anyway so Doug can give us the passes to allow us into the Trade entrance.

I am not too sure where the entrance is, and even if this is the entrance I've indicated, if its the trade entrance(if they have one)

PS sorry about the size

Yeah you are. You can have bbq's as long as they are raised off the ground (a couple of rocks or something will do  ), but no campfires

I'll be looking at taking some food and drink as well, judging by the prices of it at the Pod, plus with the weather being like this I'll be needing plenty to drink

A week on Saturday 8)

Just read this on the Inters Blog
GTi Inters Blog wrote:There are also some pretty spectacular cars rumoured to be coming this year, including the awesome Dubweiser quattro-engined Mk 1 Golf, a 550 bhp twin-turbo Beetle RSi, several turbo-charged R32s, a 650 bhp hillclimb quattro and a nitrous-injected TT, to name but a few of the fastest.
