Re-starting after stalling!!

Dear all,

just in regards to something else i posted.

If I stall my car (i know!!!) then when i go to restart it makes a rather strange noise, when i turn the key its almost like a whine, flat battery screech, din type noise (not a great description i know!) but then it starts and drives ok.

It starts fine from cold or after the engine has been left for a while, its just after i quickly restart if stalling. Any ideas what this could be? Flooded engine? Give it more revs? Leave it longer until restarting? and do you think something could be wrong?

I know the moral of the story is dont stall your car but its something that really bugs me and i wouldnt mind getting it sorted!!
