Passenger airbag and glove box 6N

Hi, my 1.6GL 6N has a passenger airbag with a useless storage tray below it.

I just saw the pics of the Polo 6n GTI with passenger airbag and lockable glovebox.

Does anyone know if any UK model had a passenger airbag and glovebox so I can start looking for one.

yeah, just been to look at that. the hole where it fits looks like the standard size.

It's a long shot but it may, just may, be worth offering the glovebox from your drivers' side up too see if that would be the right size?

may be able to order them from VW, would need to get the whole compartment though!

Hey ill have a few pictures here in a week or two, been working on something a few evenings and it fits into the useless cubby area on the passenger side below the aribag.... Turning out well..... watch this space...
