My driveshaft got shafted.

My driveshaft came off! At the engine bay! That shouldnt happen surely!

The crime was commited day before yesterday at lakeside shopping center. Whilst pulling away from a roundabout a funky kinda nooise was heard by all in the car. The driveshaft popped out. Three bolts found lose, two missing and one snapped. Did someone try to kill me or is this a regular occurence in polos? lol.

not heard of that as a common problem....

i wouldn't watch your back too closely though, surely your brakes would be the obvious thing to tamper with

Hmm well the answer shall never be know, but i shud have it fixed tommorow. Looks to just need the bolts replacing. Hopefulyl half the bolt that snapped didnt go inside

thatd suck majorly.

Shud be on the road tomz!!! . I had to use a bus today. So degrading.

Thats very true. It was most fortunate that i was pulling away fromt raffic lights and not doing 100 down the M1 like i was just a few days before on my way back from a drunk weekend in milton keynes. Now that would have sucked. Especially seeing as i dont have any breakdown cover...

Today/yesterday was not the day. I need a whole new driveshaft

thing got mashed when we toed it to my mechanic (i told him we had to lift the front end but noooooooooooooooo

, but ill let it go.)

Bugger. 150 i gotta find for a enw driveshaft, ontop of the 380 debt the car has alreday left me in for tax mot and the rest. Bugger.
