Will 14" alloys fit around the brake discs and calipers on the front of the car?
I'd go for 15"s or 16"s myself! I'll dig out some pictures after I finish work

the alloys i want only come in 14 or 16 inch so its either them sizes lol
id prefer 15s but i cant find any decent 15s
a guy had 13s on his gti so i presume they will fit

Isn't the spare wheel in the boot 14"?
It is in my gti, so it must fit over the 256mm front discs, otherwise there is no point in having it.

Nope it still will. I ran 17s for a couple of months and it was.... s**t
Expect acceleration, braking and cornering to be worse too

You think it be best to stick wiv the 16,s? I was thinkin of coilover kit to drop that little bit more. It is low now but i wanna slam iT!!

If you want to slam it, 17s are the wrong direction to go in mate. You need to look at smaller wheels

As above, he says 35mm, although IMO it looks a far bit lower than 35mm, especially as those are 16's.
