Central Locking Keyring Problem

I don't know if anyone has had this problem before, but I have 2 sets of keys for my car, and one of them locks the alarm and car fine and the other one used to but doesn't anymore.. i replaced the battery at VW cost me 3 quid but that sitll hasnt fixed it

Sounds like the key is not sync'd with the car no-more.

It needs to be re-sync'd to work again, I believe the process is detailed in the VW manual that comes with the car, else try searching forum or asking VW dealer how to do it

i've tried that.. still doesn't work i think its because my key disactivates the alarm and immobiliser, rather than simploy opening the doors

Not sure m8, maybe take it to the dealer to get fleeced or try calling them for advice?

Use it as a spare key to leave in-doors somewhere safe
