2.0 16V Turbo in MK2 Polo

Hi Guys

I found these pics on a website but there was no info on how the guy did the conversion. I'm interested in doing the same in my MK2 Polo Classic but need more info on the conversion.




Please provide me with any information that you guys have on engine swap, gearbox, suspension, etc.

he has probably used a salzmann subframe made for 827 conversions.. easy if you do that, but costs about 1000 euros.. this is what people who put golf engines in theese cars do..

Hi Guys

This pic emphasises how big the engine is - theres not even enough room to get the air filter round into air flow.

I assume it will be a mk1 golf gti rod change gearbox, seems the simplest solution

Project has begun....

At the moment my car is gettin resprayed....Will post some pics once i have an update.....

Spraying the car Golf 5 GTi Red....

Once that is done will start with all the rest....Interior, engine, etc.
