can any giv us tips on how to make my 1.4 go a little quicker without spending too much Â£Â£Â£ cos atm it just about smokes 1.2 corsa's

induction kit (approx 50 quid for a good one?)
exhaust (couple of hundred, probably)
chip

even with those you'll probably only get a small improvement. after all, the 1.4 8v engine is more of a workhorse than a performance engine...

afraid that's the way it is. heard about someone supercharging the 1.4 8v, you'd probably be able to get good power from that

the downside is that it would cost over 3 grand, may as well go and buy a valver....
