How much

Post by ollie* »

Whats a sensible price to start selling my car??

Image

Modifications include:

Wolfrace 15 inch alloy wheels with good tyres
Stainless Steel Piper Back Box with lifetime gurantee
Can include a CD player

58k Mileage
Just had New Gearbox and Cluth (£600)
Full Service history etc......

Any ideas of a price to put it up for sale??

OR

Would if get more making the car standard???

Thanks for any INFO

yea i'd probably go standard and sell the bits seperately, unless someone offers you a decent price for it as it is.

to be honest i can't see it getting 3 grand when someone on here (or maybe it was clubpolo) recently bought a good condition gti for under 3 grand

The GTi was over 100k in miles and was a 2door so there is a difference there.

you'll EASILY get 3 grand! i'd push for more mate! i cant see the pic like, cos my college computer wont let me, but if it is mint, then i'd say u could get slightly more than that! yeh that gti i had pretty much double the mileage of this car.

the mk5 polo is the perfect 1st persons car, and that would be some place to start!

people pay more for 5 doors? :?

yes there is also a slight difference in the E to the gti in the terms of performance and spec...

had a look on auto trader and seems the E model is going for around 2800-3k, mad.

I know that 5 doors are more than 3 doors brand new.

Not sure what the 2nd hand market is like.
