just sat in a new gti!!!

wasn't even registered yet!!
and i must say i like it alot!!
this one was met black and it really worked with the black coloured headlights!!
i really like the interior, but one thing that i found interesting was the black rooflining!!
combine this with the mk1 golf gti seat design, i think they've gone a bit retro!!
the one i sat in had on board tyre pressure indicator, ESP TCS and it just felt very well put together!! only 5 gears tho!!

one thing that put me off.............£16,000!!!!! :o

I sat in one, at my local dealership.

Overall impression was good, interior obviously the same as the 9n, with a few exceptions, e.g. Silver console (no thanks), the dials (yes please) and black headliner and trim.

Would only buy a secondhand one though.

I think the silver uplifts the cabin. The standard dash can be very dull. But then who cares at night when you get to see the blue dials :D
