It was easy. My brother done it for me. He measured up the original badge. Peeled it off and then just about stuck the new one on. There is little or no spacing on it. If you look closer you can still see the outline to the old badge as it is embossed into the backing. I think i'll probably get the backing off a mk4 GTI and modify it somehow.

@ ICEYPOLO: - The car was on Style Dynamix stand for most of the day. But your car just looks superb. I don't think you can do much else to it. :D
Ah so you got a rear badge and stuck it on the front.... thats the best idea, I had to snap allsorts of bits off and use some 'sticks-like-sh!t' cos I used a Anni front badge!

Hi there

It's Silk's bro here.

PoloGTI; speak to http://www.kool-vw.co.uk
They do the All Red GTI anni style badges for £12. These are replicas of the ones on the 337US version Mk4 Golf. They are around £80 in USA for the same badge.

It already comes with the double sided tape, so just peel the old ones of your original grille backing, and then stick on. Or if you want the all silver one, like you said just get the rear one from a UK Mk4 Anni.

Randall; absolute top quality. Stainless Steel (inox) bodies, with superb quality workmanship. The ride is superb, and on the softest setting is nothing harsher than the stock GTI suspension. Theres also a lot of adjustment in the ride height department. Coudln't recommend them more. Nothing bad about them tbh. Hope that helps

Hmmmm, might need to try that myself. I was considering buying the newer badges so they match the badges on the anni sill strips. 8)

Thanks Randall. To be honest, its more down to my brother. As if it wasn't for him pushing me to buy everything, I wouldn't have even bought the wheels. I've had the wheels since January. So its more down to my bro. Also he done most of the work and i'm very greatful for that.

Thanks again bro!

Cheers for the welcome guys and kind words.

Yes had to keep pushing him to get it done before Inters!!!

Randall; you need to go for KW's without a doubt, and if you can stretch to it, go for the V2's as the damping makes a good difference, becuase when you slam it on V1's the ride becomes very harsh. If you need any more info PM me or Silk. Just my 2ps worth!!!
