I believe they are the same.

When I bought a set of GTI euro mirrors to make my drivers side a stuppy (hence this one is up for sale) I sold the other one to someone on here who fitted it to their Polo 6n2.

I am sure someone will confirm for you, but pretty sure it will.

It does not fit....................... can i send it back please.

you'd be better dealing with it through ebay, he has said in the auction it would fit a polo, so if it doesn't he is obliged to give you a full refund as that is false

what is the part number on it? I thought they were the same size too, should have fitted

well its just the case of a slightly different sized base-plate.
polo mk4 6n were different to polo mk5 6n2 as were lupo's of the same year, its a pity you didn' know beforehand
when i fitted my mirrors i had to customise them to fit

i cant see anywhere on the add that says it will fit a polo?
he has said someone may have fitted one to a 6n2, if you have a 6n and it doesn't fit you cant realy complain
