Door Mirrirs work in unison !??

When I move the little switch / knob both mirrors move , should they do this ? they never used to , ,

Mine moves both when i select the right mirror but on left mirror it only moves the left mirror and it should be like that unfortunatley.

Yep should do that, its in the manual.

Its so if you have a second driver (a partner maybe) and they are a bit shorter/taller they can adjus the seat, then move both mirrors in/out at the same time as they move in opposite directions.

All as stated , thankyou, someone had knocked the o/s mirror dislodging the the outer cover so I thought a problem had been introduced. still i took the chance to oil the spring pivot before replacing the cover so now i can push it out of the way, if i remember .
