Window Tinting Pictures

Im going to be tinting my rear windows and eventually probably the front two. But i was unsure what suits the flash red polo. I was originally thinking of a light/dark smoked tint, but someone suggested limo. So what im asking guys is can you post up pics of flash red polos with tints please. Cheers

polo boi did u do them urself. if so where they hard. especially the rear window. and dont go for a deeper sunstrip unless u want to look like a chav. if anything put a smaller one on.

looks like a diy job, or the matrix's show up really bad with the black tint. i havnt got red polo but green with green tints and its different to everyother tom,dick and harry. play about in photoshop with the colours. maybe a red tint would suit although it may end up lookin pink. dark red tint or light smoke i say. and seeing as your a local id recommend u not getting the front ones done with our police force being rather strict!

i didnt do it on photoshop an i went 2 a place 2 get it done and the pictures are taken from a phone so u arnt gettin the good picture as the tint does look really well and for the sunstrip theres nuthin chavi about havin a deeper sunstrip if u lived here its like a dub thing there more an more polos out an about, boras, seat toledos, ibiza's and golfs with deep sunstips an they look alot betta than just a big plane window or a flipin 3inch strip, it puts a look on the front of ur car its just findin the rite depth which makes it work an i have a 10'' strip an it looks good from front view but the extra 2 - 4'' will look so much more, so dnt even botha startin me with the chav s**t coz thats hardly the look im goin 4! and i wud recommend mabye a lighter tint than mine as mine is 80% which is quite dark but i didnt relize how dark until it was all on, i recomend about 65% all round

Yeah mate I was thinking of just tinting the back to start with but the problem with the front is you dont know what grade the glass is tinted to as standard do you? So adding extra tint might be shooting myself in the foot. All it takes is some up him/herself copper to pull you for it. Saying that mind my mate has been driving around with black and silver plates on his car (its an 1991) and they aint said nothing.

the back 3 windows can b blacked out an the police wont say anything its perfectly legal 2 have the back windows done its just the front windows they dnt like seein done, get the back 3 done mate at a light tint or a percentage at about 65% coz thats nice in light if mine is 80% an its dark but wen the sun beams through u can see the person in the car like a shadow, go 2 any place that does tintin an they will pull out different rolls at different percentages an hold them up 2 u 2c how dark u wanna go an it only cost me 50quid for the back windows, i also wud neva do it myself as u shud see the way the pros do it, its pretty hard.

orite mate iv got a mk5 like but its in that bright red. iv got dark at the back and medium at the front and i think it looks great. i wouldnt go for limo tints....no offence to the other lad. i just think it looks to van-ish. i'll get a pic up when i get home!

i wasnt goin 4 the limo look wen the guy held the samples up they look light but wen the whole back end is done the inside of the car darkens so it makes it look darker but wen the suns beamin in it looks perfect, wen its sunny ill get a nice pic up 2 show ya

Here ya go mate. medium tint at the front, dark at the back. in all honesty, they look a fair bit darker in the pic than they are really

Dee-Vub first off I really like your car, and if I had the guts I'd get mine tinted like that today, yours is the 6N2 isn't it? Because looking at it from this angle it looks really similar to my 6N. I've got dark back lights and just fitted my spoiler yesterday and apart from the alloys its quite similar. Il post up pics when its sunny.
