1.9 TDi Conversion

Hi Guys,
does anyone know how hard it would be to fit a 1.9 TDi (PD110/130/150) Golf engine in a Mk5 6N2 Polo? Has anyone ever done this conversion? 1.8T seems a good conversion, but it is becoming quite common and Diesel Power is the way forward!

Any help will be appreciated, thanks alot!

What engine are you starting with?

Seen a 100PD converted to a 130PD and it was suprising how much work was needed on what seemed a simple swap to start with.

well i havent got a polo yet, just considering my options. it would be a base model, such as a MATCH or S/SE. It would probably be easier to start with the 1.4 TDI, but they do good money at the moment.

u sure it wasn't a mk5 fronted mk4 that was seen in PVW a couple of months back?
that had a 150bhp golf gt tdi engine in!

That woudl be the one seen it in the flesh and it looks mint

i got a 1.9 sdi and i was thinking about a diesel conversion later in life, i know its always a big job but is a gt tdi engine possible?
