Hi, Polo-less atm!

Post by Coops »

Hi,

wasnt sure where to put this but i thought i'd drop in n say hi on the mk 3 forum! (my favourite polo!lol)

technically i dont own a polo, but my missus has a mk4 1.4 8v that is continuosly falling to bits (technical section here i come! ) and i drive that from time to time when, in her words, she 'gets tired' (to blummin lazy to drive anymore!)

i live and work in sheffield n theres a spankin lookin G40 in black, tasteful bodywork mods n that that parks in the staff car park and i walk past it everyday thinkin....mmmm i want! 8)

so am gonna do a bit of homework and maybe in a few months think about buying my first ever vee dub! house on the way so am kinda poor atm but eventually i'll scrape together some fund inbetween house and my 'other' project thats on the go!

but since am a veedub and polo virgin am lookin for any pointers atall really and to basically browse around n see whats what! :P

cheers

Ben

The main problem with mk3's in general is corrosion - battery tray, and chassis legs are the main one. G40's, it's all about how well they've been looked after.
