By RX do you mean the single piece wheel, or the two piece wheel as fitted to the Polo GTi (in 15" format)?

Give Motorsport tuning a call, they're the official distributor of BBS in the UK. They should be able to sort you out with a set of RX's. Their URL is http://www.mstuning.co.uk. They're in Thurrock, Essex, so they're close to London.

If you want 16" RX2's, you have to keep an eye out for golf cabriolet wheels , or have a look on http://www.ebay.de. I think there's a set for sale on the German ebay at the moment.

In which case, as noted above, if you want 16" RXIIs then you have to be patient and keep watching eBay.

That's how I got mine, picked them up just before Christmas when most people didnt really want to spend lots of cash on new wheels I guess.

Hmm, trying to think how much I paid.

Think including delivery I got them for about £390 with tyres. Only problem being that with coming off a Golf Cabriolet the tyres were way too big for the Polo, so thats something to consider.

Mine were in ok condition, no lacquer corrosion on the rim. But they'll need stripping and polishing at some point in the near future.

There's two sets on ebay at the moment.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-MK1-mk2-m ... dZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-BBS-4-STU ... dZViewItem

Both need a bit of refurbishment, but it's well worth it for a rare set of wheels.

1st set dont look too bad, (apart from the curbed one, the tyre looks to be knackered) but as said above, the tyres are probably the wrong size for a polo ! would clean up nice though !!!
