ABS light on!

Post by Dee-vub »

Orite folks, was just casually driving along yesterday and came to a junction, my ABS light comes on and my handbrake light starts flashin at me. i turn the car off, it stopped flashin at me but the ABS light stayed on.

Anybody know what exactly the prob could be. i thought brake fluid leaking, but the tank is full as i checked it soon afterwards when i washed the car. The thing is, the car is driving and braking fine.

There is also quite a thick grease over my driver side alloy, which i think is the CV boot cracked and is leaking lubrication. but then its making me wonder if they are linked and it actually isnt the cv boot (i noticed this the day before the ABS light came on) could it be brake fluid leaking on to my alloy, but then brake fluid is much more watery than the crap on my alloy. i'm in a total pickle here folks. its booked in tomorow to get cchecked out. Well its booked in for the grease on my alloy, but i'll oobviously need to tell them about the light too.

shed some light? cheers dubbers!

Turned car off and beeping and handbrake stopped flashing, but ABS light stayed on...
ABS was working fine though so yeh i guess faulty ABS sensor.
