does anyone know wher i can get the bulb that goes behind the heater switches for the 6N2?

i tried pushing then twisting ithe middle switch and then pulling it out but it wouldn't budge

suggestions?

you can get the replacement bulb from vw parts or maplin electrics shop might carry it or maybe even halfords at a push. its a very tiny bulb

I have the vw part number if you need it


to make it easier to remove the middle knob, first pull out the coin tray above the controls, then take off the black surround on the control unit and now you should have more to grip the middle knob to pull if off in one sharp move

getting the bulb out can be hard, I used a pair of long nose pliers, being careful not to crush the glass of the bulb. could also try a small piece of tubing

how do you remove the middle knob?
i tried pulling it but it wont budge

I just posted above, how to get more access to pull if off :?

It will come off, just pull harder hehe

taking for ever to try and get the bulb out do you have unscrew it or jus pull it out?

It just pulls out, use a long nose set of pilers and carefully grip it and pull it towards you

mate lent me a pair of long nose pliers. pulld the bulb str8 out without a problem. went 2 my local auto spare shop and he gave me a replacement...95p
