hey wonderin if ne one can help me out does anybody know the insurance group for mrk 5 polo 1.4s and also insurance companys u would recommend for good quotes as a lot of them are silly because im only 18.tnx

I think the 1.4s is in group 5?

Perhaps try some online quotes to get an idea of price? Hopefully some fellow members will be able to give you an idea of cost too.

1.0 E is insurance group 2
1.4 E is 4
1.4 S is 5
1.4 SE is 6
1.4 16v is 10
GTi is 12

for quotes try endsleigh and Alan & Alan they were the best quoters for me... mention pass plus and get a quote about 1100 on SE fully comp

tnx guys tht aint bad for an se they look nice id rather hav them with the colour coded bumpers the s models have the side skirts on luks like a gti frm the side i think.was looking at black but lot of people had trouble with the paintwork i know and the vw red supposedly fades.

id love a gti but wud never pay the insurance.wen i find the rite mrk 5 all i would do is put sum nice wheels on and lower it like things suttle u see these cars thts got too much and u cant help but laugh at them.i really miss the other car me and my ex had the pink and blue pearl flip mrk 4 polo then the mrk 7 polo which i crashed accidently on the m6 he still owns tht now its on the forum somewere he is ste.

Try Liverpool Victoria. I'm also 18 and i think it came up to a few hundred. It ws definitely the cheapest quote i found
