Headlights

Post by samil87 »

i have a standard 1.0L E 2000 6N2

i can't afford to get angel eyes yet or haven't seen the headlights from a GTi for sale anywhere and hate the yellowish glow from the headlights

what kind of bulbs do i need to get to get that really bright white look?

thanx

not so bad fitting the bulbs, more space at back of each headlight to get your hand behind to swap them over for new bulbs. bit tight near battery side.

nothing like on a GTi though, their engine bay is packed tight and makes it very hard to get to bulbs, still possible though, with smaller hands hehe

under that cover, are small metal clips that lock the bulb in place, bit like a smaller version of the one that holds the black cover on

on my left hand side there are those metal clips but none on the right hand side by the battery so the bulb keeps falling out... any suggestions?

what bulbs go in the 6N2 because on the website it says H4 but on the back of the bulb it says H7? and all 3 bulbs look different

And don't touch the glass if it's a halogen bulb.

i´m flogging my angel eyes cos i´m changing to black angel eyes. they are in alright condition, chrome has corroded slightly but can only be seen when very very close. also the indicator lights are a bit damaged, but nothing serious. couple of chips. a year or so old. and bought them for over 150 quid so u cn have them for like 40 quid if you like
