stretching tires

hey all. just got my new wheels but i don't know what size tires to get, there 15's 6.5. thinking i want them a bit stretched,

anyone know what size would be best

dont really know as you could get a stretched look on those mate as they're quite narrow...

you might find that you have to pay a hell of a lot for some obscure size like 165/50... think some of the german guys run continentals in that profile?

otherwise see if you can get 195/40/15 so they're skinny as poss!

ok, well my new wheels are bbs rm's so i've been thinking about new dishes, a little off topic but does any body know the best way to change them and where to buy them. been told its best to get it done for you as the bolt have been know to snap

you can only dit it if there 3 piece rims IIRC.

you can change the width of the rim ie: the dish. with a 2 peice wheel. u just buy a wider dish and heypresto u have a wider rim. the point of a 3 peice wheel is it allows u to change the offseft ie: ET if u wish to do so and they are also alot lighter
