Very brief rundown.
You just have to rub the badge with some wet and dry, a rough grade is the best on the grille badges, then use some plastic primer on it.
It's up to you if you rub that down or not (with some fine wet and dry) then spray it with your chosen colour. (2-3 coats of primer and paint are best, making sure it's dry between each one)
The chrome bit can be split from the big black bit behind it, there's loads of bits on the back that hold it on, use a small flathead screwdriver to do that, it's fiddly but it means you don't spray anything you don't want
