Power Steering

Post by GingerGogs »

Hi, just bought first polo. Mint condition with only 38000 miles (for a ten year old car), but one problem it has is cracked power steering pipes (at te back of the engine bay). Just wondered if anyone else has had anything similar, and if so if they have found somewhere to get cheap new ones as VW are requesting £190 for the pair! Many thanks

I'm from outside the toon, beside Aboyne. I know tht scrappys are an option, but I would have to find a decent set of pipes to put on before it was worth the hassle of replacing. Been into stanleys a few times for bits, but there are always plenty of Polos up here anyway so sourcing scrap bits is never a problem. Thanks for the help.

Will hopefully get some pics up soon. Totally standard though!
