right am about to buy a mk 5 polo gti set up to put on my mk 4 all want t know is wot do i need and easy is it to fit as i want the bigger front brakes and the rear disks thanks Ben

Tough one really, it must have been done before though.

All I can personally suggest is the obvious. Brake Calipers, Carriers etc etc. I take it your MK4 already has rear discs?

I wouldn't have thought you would have too many problems doing this, try www.pologti.de and see if anyone there can help :)

Just to add...

If your Polo doesn't have rear discs, email or PM member StevieB as he carried out a MK4 rear disc conversion to his MK4 Polo. Admittedly they wern't GTi brakes, but he should be able to help you out allot.

I was looking at swapping my brakes for some off a 6n 16v to my CL. I needed everything. calipers, discs, bells and brackets. not too expensive if you can find a recon set though.

i have all the bits and the back is a more or less str8 swop with all the brake setup on each beam swops beam fo beam and the front is wot i dint really know bout but it looks as if it will swop str8 over again hubs for hubs :D
