Stylish Mats

Post by jazzypolo »

What has anybody done bout floor mats in their Mk4 ?

At the moment I've got some outsize VW rubber jobs which is kinda OK on the passenger side (except for the rubber bit) but absolutely carp! on the drivers side.

Seen some red GTi things but I'd rather go for black.

Not the most riveting of posts I know, but every little touch counts

i've just got those rubber things that came with my polo, front ones have lines on them, rear ones have stud type things, all black , all rubber, except the drivers one is worn where your feet would be... bit of a mess really..

Might have known you'd have something a bit flash Karl.

By the way nice pic of the Godess.

So do VW do a proper fitting mat in a non rubbery material ?

Just ordered a set (OE) in the best quality they had, which apparently is velours. I'll get them by the end of the week, I'll get back to you with pics and details then.

I'll get some pics up when they're in, so that'll be Monday I'm afraid. I could get you the part number, but it's a LHD version - would be different for RHD cars probably, right?

I contemplated getting some Mk4 Golf mats, but after seeing some pics of them in a Mk4 Polo I backed out - don't fit well enough. Oh well. Think these will be fine too.
