edit: so hopefully the car will look like this soon:

Finesse (sp?) finishings in Aberdeen. The guy showed me some of the wheels he'd done, all of them are amazing quality. I was expected around £40 for refurb then another £30 for powdercoating per wheel. Only trouble is, I have to take the tyres off and split the rims myself, which is a pain. 4 days to get it done, but it will be worth itdanny_boy wrote:wow 40 quid for a refurb! that sounds well goodwher are you getting it done? and do you know how much it usually costs?
Will the 13"s fit around the GTi's 256mm brakes and calipers?Mouse_GTI wrote:My wheels are getting done on Tuesday and I'll temporarily be riding on DelG40's 13" BBS badboys from the G!
Yep, they do fold in, although sadly only by hand, electric folding mirrors would have been an exquisite touch though haha! If they haven't been moved for quite some time they may need just a bit of force to budge, my passenger-side mirror sometimes needs a good thump to get it to tuck in="CymruPolo"]Do the mirrors on the GTi bend in on the outside? (for example if you wanted to park somewhere and were afraid a passing car would clip it) I tried pushing mine in the other day and didn't like to force it 'cause it didn't seem to budge.
