Purchased a house

Post by neilw »

Well not quite yet, Me and my Girlfriend have had an offer accepted on our first house. Its a really nicely decorated 2 bedroom terrace. The GTi gets its own little house too as theres a garage.

Just thought I'd share my excitement with everyone

We went for a 5yr Fixxed rate repayment Mortgage. The intrest only and put some savings into an isa sounds like a good idea thought. I guess you use your savings to pay off the capital at the end of the term. I would probably end up spending it, so best off with repayment mortgage.
