the tp button

the other day i pressed the tp button on the satndard vw stereo fitted on a polo gti (6n2), and now i can't get traffic announcements to turn off and theres tp written on the top left of my screen. I've tried everything. Does anyone know how to turn the traffic announcements off, and get rid of the tp sign.

don't you just turn the radio off?

im sure thats what i read in the mk4 golf manual for my dads gamma radio.

no-tried it and it doesn't work. Read the manual and it's not much help either!

I had that with my last alpine.

All too easy to turn on these fancy features, but an absolute arse to turn them off again!

Just press the "FM" button

This will take you out of TP Mode
