Fair play for having a bash! I'm guessing it's not running yet judging by lack of pulley and pipework.

Is that on the stock bottom end?
What boost you planning on running once you've got pulleys sorted?
What size intercooler?
Are you still running the stock exhaust manifold?
Why a DV?

it is running..... id just snapped the belt JUST b4 i took the pic!!

boost is a little high at the min, its 0.8 bar... well.... i think it can be more, but thats what i seen at one point 2wards the 5K point... lol

also its a Citroen intercooler...

im running a 4-2-1 Manifold with a 2. 1/4 inch system

it is all piped up, the pipes go from the bottom of the eaton to the cooler, then around to the carb... AS pictured!

its all in development, this is what me and my mate dun in a week. so.........

watch this space! hehe 8)

The Eatons generate very hot boost, so make sure you've got a large intercooler - needs to be bigger than a stock G40 one really. What compression is that bottom end, 9.5:1? Wouldn't want to be running much boost through it without a different cam and headwork - it'll get very hot in there. Water injection might be a cheap way of getting more out of it, and would certainly aid longevity.

Still looks to be inlet pipework missing to me, or have you just whacked some gauze over the charger inlet?

What spark plugs you running?

running G40 spark plugs, sorting out headwork and other engine stuff through out the next couple of weeks

the intercooler aint a G40 one.......

inlet has metal "sieve" like stuff over it... lol... thats all we came up with for the minit, finished it friday afternoon, then went straight to Volksfest!!!!! Ha Ha

its all work in progress....were getting there!

Yeah, I read you were using a Citroen one - was just saying it needs to be bigger than the stock G40 i/c size wise.

If the head's coming off, at least fit a not-so-pikey spacer plate to lower CR, or stack some HGs (pretty pikey) rather than just being pikey and not lowering the compression at all. Though I guess if you're taking the attitude that stock one-litre bottom ends are cheap and plentiful, it's not worth worrying about!
