Guys...
Which one is easier to put under the hood of 6N ?
2.0 16v or 1.8 T
1.8 T is easier to find in my City but 1.8 T is more complex to assembly i think.
Do you know something or website about 2.0 16v conversion for polo 6N ?
Golf Mk3 Gti engine in POLO 6N ?

They've both been done.
If you got a 16v out of an older Seat Ibiza Cupra, then that is the easiest option.
The 1.8T's are NOT an easy engine swap... Custom Drive Shafts, Engine Mounts, Downpipe, then the wiring... oh, the wiring.
Also, where to locate the intercooler, heat sheilding, putting the clocks in, etc etc etc
It would be amazing though!
JBS keep telling me I should get an S3 engine slapped in mine!

The 2.0 16v is a rare conversion, I think it's because the potential of the engine is less than that of the 1.8T. Did see one 16v, but only one. Sorry 'bout the size of the pics:

I've never seen a website, guide or anything similar on the 2.0 conversion, but Steven is fitting a 1.8T to his Mk5 ex-Tdi and he documented the process, have a look at his page: www.polo6nf.de
The info is under 'Motorumbau'.

when i saw these pictures which were in www.polo6nf.de, i was freightended.... lots of wires!!! man.....
jbs said they could put a tt 225bhp engine in the polo would get it done if it wasn't so pricey £7000 is what it cost approximately..car would be hot tho!! does anyone know how much the seat conversion is and if you can still have climate control with it..with the tt conversion the climate control stays...not sure if it would still work if it was a golf engine conversion..
