Brake Fluid

got a leaflet from VW recommending i change the brake fluid soon. Should i take it in to them? or is it easy enough to drain and replace it myself?

If you have the tool's to bleed the brakes too - and feel confident doing it.....

Ive got to take it in too. TBH, I'm going to get it done at a specialist garage though. VW quoted me around Â£85 just to do that

You can probably buy genuine fluid and have it done properly by a competent garage for probably half of that

And me! They told me when it was serviced a couple of weeks ago it needed doing and quoted me Â£60!! No chance, I'll take it to my brother at BMW who will do it for Â£15

Got mine as well mate, I am going to VW mines quoted at Â£58, I am guessing this is part of my warrenty if I need a claim. Mines going in 25th Sept.

80quid plus is mental expensive.

Took it in came to Â£45.17, it was given back to me washed and cleaned inside. They also checked all the fluids and give it a general once over.
