Possibly one for the mighty knowledge of NornIron -

Did the late style dash (like the one below), ever come in LHD?

If so, where would I be able to obtain one? Had a scan of Ebay.de, and not got anywhere.

Certainly was...part no 861 857 052 is the LHD dashboard. May be worht trying http://www.vw-classic.net/ as they can sometimes turn up unusual bits!

Its even in Etka, must have skirted past it when I looked. Not one person is curious as to what I would want a LHD dash for either... :lol:

I reckon you are fitting dual controls (driving instructor style!) to the Mk1, hence want to graft LHD and RHD dashboards together so you can fit dual steering wheels :lol:
