Fibre Glass sub box

Post by Tigz »

Got started masking the boot up this morning before work ready for the first coat of fibre glass.
Hope to get a layer on tonight when I finish if it doesn't get too dark.
Using the space to the N/S of the boot up and around the CD Changer as I've been wanting to Port my Crystal CMP 12" sub for years now, just never had the space in the Lupo.

I'll take some pics through the process, its my first attempt with fibre glass, so dont laugh if it goes wrong lol

Really need to have something finished in time for E38!

First layer is in, used a square metre of matting, and I've run out of resign :?
Took the day off work to plaster the last wall in the room.
Better do that before carrying on before this wife gets home..

Good thinking!
Although I suppose I could just take the lamp out from the outside to do it?

The bolts to take the light out are on the inside as well, so long as it's removable you'll be fine 8)

Not really got any further yet TBH.
Its in the house, awaiting a few final coats, but since fitting the iPod, I've no longer need the autochanger in tehre, so working around it seems silly now.
Trying to decie weather to start from scratch or not
