Mate please get the sub size out your head.
The sound of the sub comes from the box design.
Small box, punchy.
Larger box will give you a more muffled bass note.

Why dont you like punchy bass?
A drum beat in real life has a thump to it.

So playing the sound through your audio it should recreate this sound.

If you dont want it to do this, you may as well buy a Vibe Active sub!

after lots and lots of reading on talkaudio ive come to the conclusion that the SE12 is the daddy (+mummy):D of all 12's for quality b-line.

i tried going for the ss tarantulas but the guy doesnt want to sell em separately. never mind.

hopefully neil hasnt sold the RE yet. awaiting a reply :?
